Frequently Asked Questions

Where do you get your sheet music?

The music you hear me playing is not what is on the sheet music. I use other arrangements as a guide for me to make my arrangement. Sometimes it may be weeks, months, or even years later before a transcriber will turn an arrangement into sheet music.

Can I hire you?

Yes! Go to my bookings tab for more information. I play weddings, teach lessons, write music, and more.

What equipment do you use?

I own four Yamaha pianos, the P-155, P-120, CP-33 and CP-300. For recording, I use a 2014 Macbook Pro/Windows Desktop and Onyx Black Jack mixer.

When did you start playing piano?

When I was 8 years old. My instruction was mostly done by my dear piano teacher, Mrs. Kaminsky. Then I went off to the Hartt School of Music to study there, when I was 18.

Where did you go to school?

I studied composition, theory, and piano at the Hartt School of Music in Hartford, CT. My classical piano instructor was David Westfall.

Where can I get your sheets?

Most sheets for my original music are sold on my website. There are some sheets that I no longer have on my website that have been circulated on the internet. My fans often transcribe sheets, and they do an excellent job. My fans are the best 🙂

May I request a song?

I’m happy to read the comments on my YouTube channel, but please do not email me requests. There are simply too many to sift through!

What kind of keyboard should I buy?

If you are looking for a keyboard, choose one that feels real, and sounds real. Spend at least 500-1000 USD for a nice model! I recommend Yamaha or Roland.

How do you recommend I improve my piano abilities?

I believe the main thing is believing in yourself, and playing pieces which truly challenge your hands. If you choose pieces you would LOVE to learn that are out of your reach, and you give it your all, I promise it will give back more than practicing boring scales.

Can I send gifts and fanmail to you?

Yes, please!
